What We’ll Do

  • We’ll begin our adventure with a short outdoor story, introducing the fascinating world of water and the importance of aquatic biodiversity. Together, we’ll discover how ponds, rivers, lagoons, and lakes are all teeming with life.
  • We’ll explore the surrounding environment to investigate the organisms that inhabit aquatic ecosystems, learning to identify aquatic plants, small invertebrates, and other creatures that depend on water.
  • Through illustrated activity cards, observation games, and guided activities, we’ll uncover the connections between aquatic species, discovering how each one plays an essential role in maintaining a healthy ecosystem.
  • We’ll take a closer look at some of the small organisms living in the water, observing how they move, feed, and adapt to the unique conditions of their habitats.
  • Finally, we’ll enjoy a hands-on creative workshop, making a simple nature-inspired artwork using natural and recycled materials to celebrate the incredible biodiversity of aquatic ecosystems.
