What we will do

  • We will meet near the mouth of the Sile River, the ideal starting point for exploring the banks of Europe’s longest spring-fed river.
  • We will cycle through the Porte di Cavallino, the historic water gateway linking the Venetian Lagoon with the mainland.
  • We will reach the archaeological site of Antiche Mura, a fascinating reminder of the early communities of Equilium, the ancient settlement from which Jesolo originated.
  • We will continue to Torre Caligo, a historic watchtower that has witnessed centuries of trade, travel, and conflict.
  • We will stop at Vigne Salse Winery, where we will discover the area’s agricultural traditions and experience the enduring rhythms of rural life.
  • We will return to our starting point through beautiful natural landscapes, revealing the deep connection between nature, history, and human activity.
