Cycling through wetlands

A learning journey that invites students to move slowly through land, water, and memory, exploring places where nature and human activity come together to create a living landscape. Travelling by bicycle, we leave the noise of the town behind and follow scenic routes alongside canals and salt marshes, where the sky is reflected in the water, birds rest in quiet stillness, and cultivated fields and lagoon gardens shape the landscape.

Along the way, we’ll reflect on how these seemingly simple environments hold an extraordinary richness of biodiversity and everyday history. We’ll discover why protecting these places begins with slowing down, observing carefully, respecting nature, and appreciating the small details that make this landscape so unique.
