  • We will meet in the heart of Cavallino-Treporti, the ideal starting point to discover the close relationship between the lagoon landscape and its historic military architecture.
  • We will cycle along scenic routes through salt marshes, pine forests, and wetlands, exploring the diverse ecosystems that make this territory so unique.
  • We will visit some of the most important fortifications of the First World War, remarkable examples of the sophisticated defensive system built to protect Venice.
  • Riding between the Amalfi and Pisani batteries, we will retrace the military strategies and tensions that once shaped life along the lagoon front.
  • We will continue along the spectacular cantilevered cycle path to panoramic viewpoints, where we will see how water, land, and military engineering have merged into a truly unique landscape.
  • We will return via Forte Vecchio, the defensive fortress built at Punta Sabbioni in the 19th century, bringing our journey through history and nature to a close.
