A unique experience to discover the Venice Lagoon in an active, safe, and fun way! Accompanied by expert guides, students will be introduced in a simple and engaging way to basic paddling techniques, while also learning the main safety rules needed for being on the water.
During the journey, they will have the opportunity to observe the lagoon ecosystem up close, discovering the variety of plants and animals that inhabit this environment and understanding the delicate balance that makes it so special.
The experience will be enriched with stories and curiosities about the history of the lagoon and the traditions that have connected Venice to its natural environment for centuries
Daily Program
- 08:30 – 09:00 Welcome
- 09:15 Introductory talk on kayaking techniques and the Venice Lagoon (20 min)
- 09:35 Paddling excursion (120 min)
- 12:00 Lunch
- 13:00 Workshop activity (full-day)
- 14:00 Final reflections and farewell
